Product characteristics
We present the offer for a new ST-40 machine for replacing old pipelines by static pipe bursting. The machine fits into a 1000 mm well and is lowered through a 600 mm manhole (see. Fig. on page 3.). The set includes a hydraulic power pack with 10 m hoses, a hydraulic pipe tensioning device with a hand pump, as well as 250 rods with a total length of 50 m. The set includes bursting heads specified in the specification, a set of spare parts and tools necessary for operating the machine.
It is possible to power the machine from an excavator (option without Power Pack).
The task of this innovative machine is to replace old pipelines with a trenchless method. The old pipeline can be made of any material: cast iron, concrete, stoneware, steel, – it is crushed or cut with a special head, which is pulled inside the pipe. When bursting and replacing pipelines, it is possible to keep the diameter or increase it by 1-2 dimensions.
One of the advantages of the ST-40 machine is its compact size allowing it to be placed in a well with a diameter of 1000 mm (or even less) or a very small trench.
The high degree of automation of the device allows reducing the size of the crew and increasing the level of safety at the construction site: in particular, the presence of employees inside the well when crushing and replacing pipes with the ST-40 machine is not required.
